Rye Lane Art Trail

Get It Done is thrilled to be leading the commissioning of three new murals for Rye Lane, the creative and cultural hub of Peckham, South London.

This six-month, community-led process begins by forming a Community Steering Board, bringing together representatives from across the local area. Together, we will explore three key themes to celebrate through the murals, shaping three artist briefs that reflect the heart of Peckham.

In November, our shortlisted artists will showcase their work in a street exhibition along Rye Lane, inviting the public to vote for their favourites, spotlighting local talent and engaging the public in creative street art workshops. Artists will be contracted by December, with plans to engage local communities in a series of workshops centred around the themes of each mural.

The murals will be installed between late February and early March and launched with a fun spring-time celebration event.

In an area we personally cherish deeply, we are vitally aware of the cultural significance of this project in one of the UK's most diverse and multicultural areas, and we are committed to honouring Peckham’s rich history and vibrant communities.
